07-05 Benedict, Cartwright, Kelly, Orchard, Robie Looking for information on ggg, his name was John M. Kelly b11/6/1820 Ireland, d10/18/1868. He is buried at Placerville Cemetery.

He and a man named Mr. Perkins got into a disagreement over some pigs and shot each other. and both died with in a few days due to the wounds I do have his obit but was hoping to find more info on him. I have a letter that indicates he was a member of the city government. Does anyone have info?

He also may have owned a bar/store and or a boarding house or all 3.

His wife was Sarah. He had a daughter named Maryann who married Alexander Orchard. Sarah [yes there was a daughter Sarah and a mother] married several times. The last and longest was George Cartwright. Another daughter, Isabella married and lived in Whitebird area [married Samual Benedict then, after he was killed in Indian War of 1877, she married EW Robie.

Would love to hear from anyone that knows anything about these people

07-04 Pinkham I'm looking for info on Sumner Pinkham. Sheriff in Idaho City killed July 23, 1865. Death record? Where is he buried? Family etc. He's possibly my 3rd great grandfather. Lynn 02/23/07
07-03 Leslie I am looking for any information on Harold Donald LESLIE who died June 5, 1936 near Boise. He was in the military. His body was in a vehicle in a dam. News articles, etc. would be appreciated. Lorraine 02/12/07
07-02 Crowder, Hazlewood, Pinckard, Wilmot Any information to James L. Crowder who left Lewistown, Montana about 1902 with his family. Eleanor was on the 1900 census for Lewistown, but not on the 1910 Ada County census.

Also information on a mural painted in Idaho City. Who, date, and where we do not know. There is a mural at Diamond Lil's but they believe it was painted about 1942.

Also, we have a letter from Esther Pinckard to Hugh Wilmot dated Aug 10, 1921. Hugh's address was c/o Edna Mines. Who was she? Any more information on any of this would be appreciated. Thanks

07-01 Chase Please help my friend Georgie Hersano (now Concepcion) who is trying to locate her father, US Navy Bruce David Chase, from Boise, Idaho.

Sometime during 1965-67 or thereabouts was assigned in Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines and met Marcelina Hersano. Georgie has never met her father and wants to locate him. Please help us get information about him.

06-04 Bragg My name is Larry and reside in Bossier City, Louisiana.   I enjoy working on genealogy and offered to assist some friends with trying to identify and or confirm who the attached picture is.

Thomas H. Bragg, b. 1870 Missouri (married in 1900 Boise City,ID) Susan S. Bragg b. 1875 Virginia

  The family was on the US census 1910 in Roseberry District, Boise County, Idaho.  They moved west on to Medford, Oregon and are on the 1920 and the 1930 US Census.

06-03 Barstow I am looking for information concerning a Dr. William Barstow from Keene, New Hampshire, who lived and worked in Idaho City - probably in the mid to late 19th Century. Harry 06/04/06

06-01 Healey Toll Gate Who built the Healey Toll Gate and when? I was told 1889. I lived there until just before the Health Department burned all the buildings. 05-02 Gorman, Zapp My mother was a Gorman and her mother was a Zapp (born in Garden Valley). Looking to gather some family history on our mother's family.

Just found out there is a Zapp House and Gorman House in Idaho City and have seen recent photos of the cemetery plots for both families. Any information is appreciated. Thx.
