| CLOUDER family that lived in Placerville in the late 1800’s. Their names were: Phillip Clouder died Aug 5, 1902 in Placerville or Quartsburg; Mary Clouder died Feb 16, 1911 in Placerville or Quartsburg; Walter Clouder born Dec 12, 1879 in Placerville or Qaurtsburg; Hellen (or Helena) Clouder born in 1868 in Placerville or Quartsburg; Eva Clouder born in 1871 in Placerville or Quartsburg; Anna Clouder born May 13, 1875 in Placerville or Quartsburg; I have also found the names of Mary M and Lena Clouder listed in some old documents from the same area. I have found records where the name Clouder was spelled Clowder and Clouter. The correct spelling is Clouder. My Grandmother was Anna Clouder. I think that Phillip, Mary and Walter are buried in the Placerville Cemetery. | Pete Rude | |
